A Temple To Hot Booze Opens In Hoxton This December

Just when we were wondering where to get our fix of warming alcoholic nips this Christmas, up pops a bar dedicated to them. Hot Booze opens up in an empty shop on Kingsland Road on 4 December and runs for two weeks.

The enterprise set up by two old school pals, Mia Lane (ideas woman and comedian) and Matt Bliss (cocktail creator), and they’ve decided to focus on quality, which means NO cheapo mulled wine with dusty spice bits floating on top.

Instead, think more along the lines of homemade hot chocolate with hard liquor, such as the Chocolate Salty Booze, (salted caramel hot chocolate with rum) and teas infused with a tot of the hard stuff, like the Hot Ginger Nuts (sweetened ginger tea with Bourbon and orange).

Don’t mind if we do. Hic!

Hot Booze, 93 Kingsland Road, Hoxton, E2 8AG. From 4-20 December, open Tuesday-Thursday: 5pm-11pm; Friday-Sunday: 3pm-11pm. Mon: closed.
