Teams of women and girls from across London will be building and racing their own go karts this September in the Girl Kart Grand Prix. Sound like fun? There's still time for you to get involved.
Get a (women only) team of under 16s together and head to Mudchute Farm this 5 September for your chance to become a self-built speed demon.
With wheels, wood, tools and bits and bobs supplied, plus 3.5 hours' building time, there's plenty of fun to be had creating marvellous machines for the race. And it's not all about speed: there's a Best Overall Design prize up for grabs too.

Girl Kart Grand Prix takes place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 5 September 2015 at Mudchute Farm, Isle of Dogs, E14 3HP.
