Broken Pillar n12 by Shan Hur. A delicate vase nestles inside the titular column. Oddness. Find it in front of St Helen's.

Rays (London) by Xavier Veilhan must be of some interest to someone, but this metal lattice left us cold. In the middle of the Willis Building complex.

Bells II by Kris Martin. Their bell-ends stuck together, these clangers remind us of the City's long association with church bells. On the corner diagonally opposite the Heron Tower.

Breakout II by Bruce Beasley is clearly a Klingon Bird of Prey. Find it behind the Cheesegrater.

Charity by Damien Hirst. Striking, aims to remind us of the way disabled people were once portrayed as figures of pity.

Ghost by Adam Chodzko. It's that boat thing, hanging down from the ceiling. It looks like it might be a beautiful object but, hidden up there, who can tell?

Old DNA by Folkert de Jong. Like a knight in non-shining armour picked a fight with a brass band. It lurks beneath the Willis Building.

Days of Judgment - Cats I & II by Laura Ford. A welcome bit of surrealism on Gracechurch Street.

'O my friends, there are no friends' by Sigalit Landau. This one still had fencing round it, so we couldn't get the full effect of the ring-a-ring-a-shoes, tied together by their laces. It's just east of the Cheesegrater.

Q. How do you make a bunch of insurance headquarters attractive? A. Stick some unusual sculptures in front of them. That's the deal at the Sculpture in the City art trail, back again for its fifth year.

The 2015 crop is as diverse as ever. Some are visually arresting; others make you ponder; still others are three yawns short of a siesta. Click through the gallery above to browse 10 of the 13 on show (a 14th, by Ai Weiwei, is coming in September).

Sculpture in the City runs until spring 2016. See the art works from 2014 and 2013.
