Anchorman v Bridget Jones & Ferris Bueller v The Plastics: Seeing Double In Kings Cross

Anchorman or Bridget Jones? You decide.

Watch classic films outdoors with a twist this week, as Guardian: Live's Festival of Perception shows two films on two screens. Silent disco headsets will give you the chance to choose which film's audio you want to hear.

On Friday, you can see Anchorman pitched against Bridget Jones's Diary in a double-bill dubbed 'the ultimate date night'. Then on Saturday, it's 'back to school' as the ever-brilliant Ferris Bueller's Day Off takes on Mean Girls.

A quick check on the imdb website will reassure film fans that whichever of the Saturday screenings takes their fancy, they'll still be able to catch Ferris Bueller's epic ending: the older film is a full six minutes longer than 2004's Mean Girls.

And if you're already busy on Saturday night, here's sneaky peek today, hidden behind this tantalising grey square. You're welcome.

Double Take: Perception film screenings take place on 24 and 25 July at 7.30pm at Lewis Cubitt Square, Kings Cross, N1C 4UZ. Tickets £10.
