BEYOND THE TOWPATH:
The Telegram Gallery at London Canal Museum in King's Cross has an exhibition of work by Alberta Bamonte, inspired by London’s Regent's Canal. It consists of prints and drawings, with all pieces for sale. Until 2 August

LAMBETH PALACE:
Lambeth Palace has the oldest continuously cultivated garden in London, and is open to the public on the first Wednesday of the month during the summer. See roses and flowering perennials along the 100metre long terrace, scented-leaved Mediterranean plants in the Chapel Garden, lilacs and hydrangeas enjoying the early summer. Adults £4, children free, 12pm-3pm

FREE FESTIVAL:
More London Free Festival is underway on the South side of the river between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Between now and September, a plethora of free music, sport, theatre and film events take place. Tonight, Colombian guitarist, singer and choir leader Camilo Menjura performs a lunchtime concert. Free, just turn up, 12.30pm-2pm

SCREEN PRINTING:
Try your hand at screen printing in this hour long workshop at BoxPark in Shoreditch. Learn about the processes, experiment with layering colours and take home your own two-colour print. £15, 6pm/7.15pm

WANTED COWS:
The Mosaic Rooms near Earl's Court screens The Wanted 18. It's an animated documentary about the Israeli army’s pursuit of 18 cows, whose independent milk production on a Palestinian collective farm was declared “a threat to the national security.”£6.50/£7.50, prebook, 7.30pm

100 YEAR OLD FILM:
They say good things come to those who wait. This film ought to be excellent then — it's 100 years old, but is only having it's UK premiere tonight. Head to the Cinema Museum in Kennington for a screening of East Lynne, along with 1926 flick So’s Your Old Man. Age 13+. £4, 7.30pm
