CITY OF LONDON FESTIVAL:
From today, expect to see live music, dance, theatre and more taking over the Square Mile for three weeks for the City of London Festival. Hear jazz on the top floor of the city's skyscrapers, watch classical music in the historic churches, see performances in the green spaces and squares and more. Sadly there's no bowler hat this year. FREEDOM OF HILLINGDON:
The centenary of the RAF Northolt airfield is being celebrated with a parade through the streets of Uxbridge. Over 200 armed service personnel will march down the High Street in Uxbridge, from Harefield Road to the Civic Centre forecourt, where they will be received by Mayor of Hillingdon Cllr George Cooper. NIGHT SAFARI:
Natural History Museum has a Night Safari, exploring the diverse wildlife of London, from the prehistoric to the modern day. Three scientists share their expertise, revealing the surprising biodiversity of the capital and the history of when lions roamed Trafalgar Square. CAMDEN REFUGEE WALK:
Footprints of London is running a series of charity walks in aid of Amnesty International. Tonight's walk explores the impact of refugees on Camden, and shows how they have impacted on the history and life of the Borough. Minimum donation £10, prebook, 7pm
