Calling all choristers and those who would like to be in choirs! Your voices are needed for a special come-and-sing performance of Handel's Messiah in aid of Battersea Arts Centre's restoration fund.

Battersea Phoenix Choir will come together for one weekend only to learn, rehearse and perform the Messiah. They will be conducted into shape by Music Director of Thomas's Choral Society, Sam Evans, fronted by professional soloists and accompanied by a professional orchestra. A quality musical experience for singers and audience alike is the aim.

If you want to take part you'll need to go to the workshop at Sacred Heart Chuch, Trott Street, between 11am-5pm on 13 June and rehearse at the Church of the Ascension on 14 June from 2.30pm-5.30pm ahead of the 7pm performance. Select your part when you buy your £40 ticket: , alto, tenor or bass. You'll also need a score to work with, take your own or ask to hire one for £3.

If you'd prefer to use your ears to your vocal chords, tickets to the concert — in support of BAC — cost £15.
