Pajama Men come to Udderbelly Festival

MUSIC FESTIVAL:
The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance holds a day long music festival at London Fields Brewery in Hackney. It features 16 acts of all genres, consisting of alumni and current students of the Institute. There’s also craft beer, pizza and other surprises throughout the day. £5, just turn up, 1pm

SCIENCE MUSEUM LATE:
Science Museum in South Kensington is open late for adults only. The theme this month is Let There Be Light. Explore cosmic light and the northern lights, and discover how lasers are used in distilling whiskey and how sunlight is used to generate electricity to power your home. There are also games, demonstrations, a silent disco and more. Free, just turn up, 6.45pm-10pm

FILM PREVIEW:
Eva Longoria, better known as one of the Desperate Housewives, has turned her hand to producing. Her award-winning documentary Food Chains explores the relationship between the policies of corporate supermarket chains and the working conditions of American farm labourers who pick the produce that is distributed across the nation. Tonight it's screened at Frontline Club in Paddington, followed by a Q&A with director Sanjay Rawal and producer Eric Schlosser.£10, 7pm

WINE WORKSHOP:
Master vintner Angelo at Bedales Wines in Borough has assembled a range of non-conformist varieties of wine for tasting. £27, 7pm

PUTNEY HOUSES:
Putney Library hosts an illustrated talk by Dorian Gerhold about the mansions and villas which were an important feature of Putney from the 15th-19th centuries. Usually belonging to wealthy Londoners, both the building and their occupiers tell a story of a Putney that's now gone. Free, prebook by emailing charlene.coleman@gll.org, 7pm

STRESS SOLUTIONS:
Head to Kensal Green for a workshop that'll teach you everything you need to know about stress and how to fight it: from how essential oils can help you sleep to the importance and power of breathing well, as well as how to find balance in your daily life. £15, 7pm

FLAMENCO SHOW:
Singer Leo Power and guitarist Pablo Dominguez are at Sands Film Studios in Rotherhithe to share the folklore, sights and sounds of Cádiz. They'll be joined by dancer Natalia Garcia-Huidobro whose international career has taken her from her native Chile to Mexico, Spain and beyond. £14, prebook, 7.30pm

FUNNY SHOREDITCH:
Floripa in Shoreditch hosts a comedy night with Jonny Freeman introducing tomfoolery and improvisation. It features Dave Fulton, who's joined by Marcel Lucont, plus short sets from Carly Smallman and Sean McLoughlin. £8, 7.30pm

Get a double bill of comedy at Dirty Dicks on Bishopsgate as Dane Baptiste and Daphna Baram preview their Edinburgh shows. £5.95, prebook, 8pm

PTERODACTYL NIGHTS:
Narrative sketch comedians the Pajama Men bring their unique style of comedy to the Udderbelly Festival at Southbank Centre, in the form of their show Pterodactyl Nights. £10, 9pm
