A London first

31 May marked the 100th anniversary of the first aerial bombardment of London, during World War One. Read about an innocuous London house that became the first place in London to be attacked by a foreign military power in almost 1,000 years.

For your Friday

Come with us to the beautiful Wallace Collection this week for a vibrant and exotic evening of painted ladies, life drawing, psychedelic pop, group art and inspiring talks and tours. Inspired by current exhibition Joshua Reynolds: Experiments in Paint, the summery event focuses on the power of colours through music, art, comedy and... marshmallows. Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of Pimm's to enjoy in the al fresco bar at magnificent Hertford House. Book now!
