Nine men have been arrested in connection with the Hatton Garden burglary, following Met police raids on homes in north London and Kent.
Detectives say they have recovered "significant amounts of high value property" following the raids, which saw 200 police swoop on 12 homes at 10.30am today.
Millions of pounds of items were stolen in the Easter weekend raid on the safety deposit box vault, when offenders drilled through a concrete wall.
"An intense investigation has been undertaken to ensure the victims, the individual box owners, the small businesses and the wider Hatton Garden community can get justice," said a Met spokesperson.
The men, aged between 48 and 76 have been taken to a police station in the city for questioning.
