Ravilious @ Dulwich Picture Gallery (1 April-31 August)
Discover the work and life of Eric Ravilious (1903-1942), who was responsible for the revival of English watercolour painting during the beginning of the 20th century. All These Things Belong To You @ V&A Museum (1 April-19 July)
In a time of political elections, the V&A examines the role of public institutions in contemporary life and their importance in building up a national collection. The show will focus on the role of design and architecture in defining a civic identity, the public realm and our urban experience. Free admission

Sonia Delaunay @ Tate Modern (15 April -9 August)
Tate dedicates a major retrospective to Sonia Delaunay, one of the most prominent female artists of the 20th century. Modigliani @ Estorick Collection (15 April-28 June)
This Italian art gallery dedicates a one-off retrospective to Amedeo Modigliani, who worked at the epicentre of avant-garde experimentation in Paris between 1906 and 1920. The exhibition focuses on his work on paper, espcially drawings and sketches. £5/£3.50, just turn up on the day

Deutsche Börse Prize @ Photographers' Gallery (17 April-7 June)
The shortlisted artists for this year's prize are: Nikolai Bakharev, Zanele Muholi, Mikhael Subotzky, Patrick Waterhouse and Viviane Sassen. The photographers use a variety of medium including video, text, objects and wall-based photographic displays. Free admission

Looks @ ICA (22 April-21 June)
How much does the mass digital culture we live in affect our identities? A group of artists investigates this theme through a series of different media: film installation, painting, sculpture and photography. £1, just turn up on the day

Indigenous Australia: Enduring Civilisation @ British Museum (23 April-2 May)
