STEGOSAUR MYSTERIES: Head to Natural History Museum to meet a Museum palaeontologist who studies stegosaur skeletons to try to work out why they had the plates and spines that extend from their necks to the ends of their tails. Free, 2.30pm

SCREEN PRINTING: Head to Box Park for an informal screen printing workshop, where you will be helped to create your very own screen print using inks and screens provided. £10, prebook, 6pm

VICTORIAN DEBATE: Coinciding with the Victorian Obsession exhibition at Leighton House Museum, a panel of art historians discuss the relative merits of the Victorian Masters featured in the exhibition, taking it in turns to present one of them to the audience. The debate will conclude with questions from the floor and a show of hands to determine which artist will win the public vote?  £20, prebook, 6.30pm

FLYING AND SPYING: Stanfords in Covent Garden hosts a talk by author Toby Litt and UCL historians Thibaut Maus de Rolley and Zoltán Biedermann, giving insights on the topic of flying, what our obsession with it is, and why it is needed in good fiction. Free, prebook, 6.30pm

CRICK CRACK CLUB: Eating the White Snake is an evening of conversation dedicated to the human mind, and its attachment to the archetypes of myth, legend and fairytale. Jungian analyst Catherine Bygott will lead a discussion on Jung's 'map of the soul' and why fairytale elements affect us so profoundly. £8, prebook, 7pm

WHIRYLGIG CINEMA: Spotlights is at Hackney Attic for an excellently-curated short film night. Three emerging filmmakers are given just 30 minutes each to screen and talk about their films, followed by a Q&A session. Sci-fi and fantasy is the theme tonight. £5/£4, prebook, 7pm

NATURAL PHILOSOPHY: Royal Institution historian Frank James hosts talks on the early life 0f John Tyndall, who was Professor of Natural Philosophy at the Royal Institution from 1853 to 1887, his relationship with the RI and the future of collaborative humanities research. £12/£8/£6, prebook, 7pm

DASH ARTS: Dash Arts teams up with the Armenian Institute to host a choir from Oxford performing songs by Western Armenian composer and genocide victim Gomidas and Soviet-raised Eastern Armenian composer Mirzaian Suni. At Rich Mix. Free, 7.30pm

PSYCHO LIVE: The Dominion Theatre screens Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 film, Psycho, accompanied on stage by a live 40 piece orchestra. £25-£61, prebook, 7.30pm
