Artists on hand
The artists will be there selling their own work, there's no middleman and you can find out anything you want to know about how the artwork was made as you decide whether it's for you. Since you'll be directly negotiating with the artist and they're not represented by a gallery, you can see work you wouldn't find anywhere else and negotiate a great price.
High quality art
Even though these artists may not be represented by galleries, many have been at previous editions of the fair so have a proven track record of performing well at the fair. 700 artists applied for this edition and they have been whittled down to 130 by a high quality judging panel consisting of YBA Gavin Turk and experts from The Courtauld Institute and auction house Sotheby's.
It's not just for buyers
If you're not in the mood to make a purchase, there's a great programme to go alongside the stands including performances, talks, workshops for children, an immersive theatre experience, with food and drink available.
