The Super Comic Convention arrives for its 4th London outing in Docklands' ExCel Centre this March. The 7th wave of guests announced reveals Jonathan Ross will be stopping by to show off his comic book credentials. Ross joins an impressive array of authors, artists and publishers among other special guests including Neal Adams (Batman, Superman, X-Men), Garth Ennis (Preacher, Hellblazer, Dan Dare) and John Romita Jr. (Iron-Man, Spider-man, The Hulk).

There are plenty of stalls catering for all comic needs from vintage editions to brand new series. The expert staff will doubtless educate those that don't know their Blackest Night from their Brightest Day, or their Red Son from their Red Lantern. Small indies will join big beasts such as Forbidden Planet to showcase their wares to the many costumed guests.

And it's surely Cosplay that will be the all important event. These days, rummaging around in a dressing-up box may not be enough with standards likely to be super strength: one of the judges is Yaya Han who has built an international business from her Cosplay designs. Those that do don the best outfit will be amply rewarded. The winners bag tickets for the Dragon*Con convention in Atlanta.

This one looks set to be a fun weekend for all ages and worth a visit, whatever multiverse you reside in.

The London Super Comic Convention runs 14 and 15 March, 2015 at the ExCel Centre. Tickets start at £18.50.
