There's always that big show you've been wanting to see, but can't quite justify the "special occasions only" ticket price — which is what the rather excellent Get Into London Theatre scheme sets out to resolve for you.
The initiative offers tickets to 70 shows — including theatre, musicals and ballet — for £10, £20 £30, or £40, covering performances from 1 January - 13 February.
When you consider that most stall seats in the West End usually go for £60+, the offer is a price even your Christmas-hit bank balance can forgive. There are no sneaky booking or postage fees either.
It’s likely to be a bun-fight for the best seats at the best shows. Our advice is to take a look at what’s available (Billy Elliot, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 3 Winters, Ghost Stories, Made In Dagenham — really — you’re spoilt for choice), pick your favourites and have a few dates in mind so that if your first choice isn’t available, you can move straight onto the next.
Take a look at the price guide to see what’s available. Bookings can be made via the website.
