The National Portrait Gallery will dedicate a photographic retrospective to actress and style-icon Audrey Hepburn. The exhibition, Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon, opens on 2 July 2015.

It coincides with the 65th anniversary of the actress’ little-known career-changing performance at the West End night club Ciro’s. The club was located in the space now occupied by the Gallery’s public archive. On display will be a remarkable selection of both rarely-seen and more famous photographs of the actress, from her childhood house in Belgium to Hollywood cinema sets.

Tickets cost £9 for adults and £7.50 for concession: you can buy them online from the National Portrait Gallery's website.

Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon is at National Portrait Gallery, from 2 July until 18 October 2015. For more art exhibitions this month, visit our Art & Photography section and check our Top ten London art exhibitions in December.
