CHRISTMAS IS COMING: And although we're not fattening up any poultry, we have put together a bumper page of all festive goings on in London. We'll be updating it throughout December, so keep checking back.

NEW EXHIBITION: Sculptor Wilfrid Wood presents a new exhibition at Beach London shop in Shoreditch. The display features mostly dog sculptures. Free, until 31 January 2015

CYCLING FESTIVAL: Join Spin Xmas cycling festival, which takes place this weekend at the Rochelle School in Shoreditch. There will be innovative cycling products on display, craft beer, street food, art and music — see full programme here. Free, until 7 December

FASHION POP-UP: Online fashion shopping hub Etsy launches its first pop-up shop today. Etsy House will be in Covent Garden for three days, selling a selection of gift ideas. Until 7 December

ART TALK: The ICA hosts a symposium led by contemporary philosopher Tristan Garcia. He will interrogate philosophical realisms and object orientations, while a group of artists explores his philosophy through performative practices. Capiche? £5/£3, prebook, 11am  

FABULOUS FEASTING: The Wallace Collection has a late night adults only evening along the theme of Fabulous Feasting, with activities including lectures, book signings, tours, life drawing and live music. Free, prebook, 6pm-9.30pm

ILFORD MUSIC WALK: Discover the musical history of Ilford with artist Lucy Harrison as you walk around the locations of nightclubs, record shops and other venues. This is a free walk and lasts about an hour, meeting point is outside The Exchange. Free, prebook by emailing [email protected], 6.30pm

VENUE LAUNCH: Number3 art space launches tonight in Deptford. During the night there will be an art aplenty and live music. Free, just turn up, from 7pm

FASHION TALK: V&A curator Keith Lodwick discusses the important relationship between cinema star Vivien Leigh and fashion, at the V&A Museum. More than being a renowned actress, she was also a style icon of her time. £9/£7, prebook, 7pm

CAT BOOK: Tom Cox, owner of @MySadCat and other mogs, is at Bookseller Crow on the Hill in Crystal Palace talking all things feline. £3, just turn up, 7pm

LET'S SWING: The London Swing Dance Society is at the Hoxton's Charlie Wrights for an evening of music and dance. The evening kicks off with a swing dance class and is followed by a live performance by The Broken Swing Band. £8/£5, prebook, 7.30pm

COMEDY: We’re very excited to see vegan transvestite metalhead Andrew O’Neill is headlining Tickled Pig at the Old Red Lion theatre in Islington; we’re big fans of his clever, joyful comedy. Also on the bill are Kate Lucas, David Mills, Ahir Shah and more. £8, prebook,10pm

Good Cause of the Day

Tonight, the Russett in Hackney hosts a charity concert to fundraise against Ebola. The gig features a series of successful and well-known African musicians, including Silvastone, Vicky Sola and The Zambezi Experience. You can just turn up and pay on the door, a £10 donation is suggested. From 8pm
