BREWERS' MARKET: London Brewers' Market is back at Old Spitalfields Market today and tomorrow. Over 30 breweries are present, with their tasty brews on tap and bottled, to enjoy on site or take home. It's also the perfect place to source an Xmas pressie for that beer-worshipping family member. Free, just turn up, from 12pm

WINE CAR BOOT: Head to Old Spitalfields Market for a car boot sale where each boot is an independent wine shop. Eash seller brings five of their favourite wines for visitors to taste, buy, drink or take home. Tickets are £10 which includes five samples, a Govino glass to keep, and a bottle carrier. FREE LECTURE: The Goethe Institut presents a free lecture on board the HMS President, chaired by Professor Christopher Clark, namely this year’s Brady Lecture, titled How Europe Went to War in 1914. Good Cause of the Day
