Mimetic Festival was nurtured in London's most northerly borough but this third edition sees the two-week celebration of visual, physical, devised and improvised theatre, including puppetry, cabaret, mime, clowning and song, fill the Vaults under Waterloo Station.
What can you expect? A panoply of innovative, unusual and spellbinding performance. A Preposterous Improvisation Experiment, a clown who makes it rain from his fingertips, forgotten Vaudeville films, amusing atmospheric music from Nyctophonia, Buddhism and analysis, a sequel to Pinocchio, Miss Glory Pearl: The Naked Stand Up... click through the image gallery for more. You can also get a first look at works in progress, enjoy pop up performance in the lively bar and kitchen, peruse exhibitions and watch short films by cabaret artists in screenings by BURN.

Mimetic Festival 2014 takes place at The Vaults, Leake Street, Waterloo from 18-29 November. Ticket prices vary, from £6 per show. Hanging out in the bar will put you in front of free pop up performances.
