After the turkey and tinsel comes the inevitable conversations about a New Year's resolution. We know it's a while away yet, but why not plan yours early this year? Enrol on one of Bishopsgate Institute's many courses and stretch your mind in 2015.

If learning a language has always been on your to-do-list, choose from Arabic, Mandarin, German, French, Spanish or Italian. Learn a new skill such as night photography, or make 2015 the year you finally get that novel written. Try your hand at creative writing, scriptwriting or screenwriting and tell your story in novel, short story, script or graphic form.

Bishopsgate Institute also offer a wide selection of London-focused courses, with something to tempt everyone from the most experienced of Londonphiles to those who currently hold more curiosity than knowledge. Rediscover the lost buildings and streets that now only exist in old images and documents; explore the history of London’s museums and Victorian libraries; or enjoy a walking tour of London’s literary landmarks.

You can travel back to 1895 to discover philanthropy, football and the life of Oscar Wilde at the time; or zoom in on the fantastic films of Wes Anderson.

Put a spring in your step with ballroom dancing, find your singing voice, join a choir or allow the actor in you to take centre stage. If you're just hoping to undo some of the excesses of the festive season, body and exercise courses are the ones for you — and there's not a gym membership card in sight.

The spring 2015 term is now open for enrolments. For a full list, download the spring 2015 prospectus.
