A Periodic Table Of London Films

Here's the perfect gift for the film-loving Londoner with an eye for chemistry and solving word puzzles (we all know one, right?). Designer Johnny Joannou, trading as On A Sixpence (@onasixpence), specialises in making alternative Periodic Tables. This one features over 100 London-set films spanning the past century. You're given the film initials, the surname of the director and the year of the film. Easy to Google, more fun to try and work out.

If the idea appeals, Johnny has prints of the table available in a much bigger size for £60, including an option to add a personalised cell. The film prints will soon be featured in the Renoir and the Curzon Soho. His other work includes Periodic Tables of London football clubs' greatest players.

You can also try your hand at solving our very own Periodic Table of London.
