Unwanted Coats Wanted: Wrap Up London 2014

Charity Hands On London wants your old winter coats.

Annual coat drive Wrap up London takes place in early November. Last year more than 15,700 coats for men, women and children were collected, recycled and redistributed, providing essential winter wear for all sorts of people in need.

This year's collections take place during morning rush hour on Wednesday 5, Thursday 6 and Friday 7 November at the following tube stations:

  • Paddington
  • Kings Cross
  • Victoria
  • Waterloo
  • Canary Wharf
  • Charing Cross
  • London Bridge
  • Baker Street
  • Highbury & Islington
  • Marylebone

You can also drop your coat off on these days at the Broadgate Welcome Centre, just by Liverpool Street station, and the Howard Griffin Gallery in Shoreditch.

Think you could organise your own coat collection at work? Let them know by emailing info@handsonlondon.org.uk

Hands On London also needs volunteers to help with the collections and to sort the donations. Email wulvolunteers@handsonlondon.org.uk to put yourself forward.

Visit the website to find out more or just look out for the collection points at stations. Join the event on Facebook or follow @HandsonLondon on Twitter.
