ICA OFF-SITE: The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) hosts a week-long free programme of live events at The Old Selfridges Hotel, to coincide with Frieze London. GUIDED WALK: Coram Charity celebrates its 275th anniversary with two free walks taking place today and on Friday 17 October. DRINK ABSINTHE: London Cocktail Week has just finished but it's never too late for a drinking masterclass. As part of Reverend JW Simpson's Spirited Sermons series, today you can try the Absinthe experience at their bar in Fitzrovia. WIENER LIBRARY: Author Thomas Weber is at Wiener Library discussing his book Hitler's First War, a radical revision of the period of Hitler's life that is said to have made him. SCIENCE CABARET: The Royal Institution hosts a cabaret of science in occasion of Ada Lovelace Day. Expect talks and performances from Roma Agrawal, Caro C, Hannah Fry, Konnie Huq, Turi King and more, all sharing their inspirations and their passion for science, technology, engineering and maths. £12/£8, prebook, 7pm

MOVIES TALK: Movie magazine Little White Lies celebrates the release of its first book What I Love About Movies, with a special talk taking place at Foyles in Charing Cross. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. £5, prebook, 7pm

WAR TALKS: Every week, Conway Hall hosts a series of discussions and talks about the First World War. Today, the focus is on the British Labour Movement and the war outbreak.
