Monster Fun At The Big Draw

Can you trace the electric path of the poo through the monster?

Admit it, you've always wanted to take part in activities called things like: Pin The Bone on the Skeleton and Throw The Organs Into The Body. And if you haven't, you do now — right?

Children's magazine Okido is marking The Big Draw with a crazy and colourful afternoon of activities at Doodle Bar. Its Monster Arcade features family-friendly science and arts activities including Electric Poo, which teaches kids about the digestive system, and Make Yourself A Monster, in which youngsters (and the young-at-heart) draw monsters in chalk then put their heads through so they can become the beast.

Monster Arcade takes place on 12 October, 2pm-5pm at Doodle Bar, 33 Parkgate Road, Battersea, SW11 4NP. Entry is free.

If monsters seem a bit frightening, there are plenty of other chances to sharpen your crayons during The Big Draw such as learning How to Draw Vintage Fashion (12 October), Drawing On Wimbledon Common (27 and 28 October) and an adults-only sketchbook scavenger hunt (18 October).
