The Tour of Britain came to the centre of town on Sunday, with riders competing in a circuit race and individual time trials, all while the Invictus Games was enjoying its closing events at the old Olympic venues. Championed by Prince Harry (who was snapped by phil h hanging out around the Olympic Park), the Games was for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women. Over 400 competitors from 14 countries took part in events like cycling, wheelchair rugby and swimming.

Many thanks to our brilliant Flickr pool contributors who went to these events and shared their photos with us.
