Street artist Dan Witz specialises in subtle but (once you've spotted them) arresting images that make use of the grills, windows and air vents of old buildings. His latest commission, dubbed Empty the Cages comes from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), who want to get people thinking about the conditions faced by animals handled by the meat industry. Dan has been busy around Smithfield Market, City Road and elsewhere, fixing chicken claws, pigs heads and other interventions to buildings. The 30 pieces are accompanied by QR codes, should you wish to read more about the issues, and PETA also has more information. See how many you can spot.
