Next month, infamous celebrity haunt (of sorts) Madame Tussauds throws open its doors late into the evening for a series of film screenings in the famous dome. The iconic green structure, which previously housed the Planetarium, hosts screenings of two films each night on 4 and 5 September.
It's organised by Experience Cinema — the same people behind Rooftop Film Club and Drive-In Cinema - so the film choices are quite predictable, but watchable none the less. Thursday 4 September sees an early screening of Romeo + Juliet at 7.15pm (though not on sale just yet), followed by Breakfast at Tiffany's at 9.30pm. The following night, it's Pretty Woman and Top Gun.
Tickets cost £22.50+ booking fee, which includes the film screening along with time before it begins to mingle with the waxy celebrities in the Film and A-List Party areas of Madame Tussauds. Hang out with the likes of Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Angelina Jolie and Audrey Hepburn. There's food for sale and a bar for anyone who wants to make an evening of it.
Experience Cinema comes to Madame Tussauds on 4-5 September. Tickets are £22.50+booking fee, and need to be prebooked.
