In Photos: London's Most Beautiful Pubs

Back-street boozer, city hangout, Victorian gin palace, riverside terrace — London has every kind of pub under the sun. Many of the city's drinking holes have been forced to close in recent years, but thousands are still alive and kicking (and, as you can see above, some are positively blooming).

If you're looking for somewhere new to drink, take a look at our pubs database, which features boozers recommended by our readers.

Thanks to the following photographers for use of their photos via the Londonist Flickr pool: Andy Blackwell, Ben Coombs, Birgit, Ian Gibson, Laura Gilchrist, markdbaynham, Matt Brown, PastLondon, Randall (Randy) Murrow, Robert Moore, Shehani,  Stephanie Sadler,
