On Saturday 30 August, Londoners have another chance to relive the sporting highs and lows of London's Paralympic Games. Grab your novelty hats, douse yourself in Spirit of 2012, and get on down to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to cheer on the Paralympic GB medallists as they make a return visit to the park for National Paralympic Day 2014.

Two years to the day since Great Britain won its first medals at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, the London Aquatics Centre and Copper Box Arena will once more be filled with cheers as Team GB and international athletes compete in a variety of sports such as swimming, boccia, goalball and wheelchair basketball. With tickets to these events costing just £5, it’s no surprise they’re selling quick. Get yours here.

After watching the action, give the inclusive sports a go yourself and try out some of the sports mentioned above. There’s also the opportunity to meet some of the stars of London 2012 - Jonnie Peacock, Jody Cundy, Aled Davies, Stef Reid, Susie Rodgers, Jade Etherington and Caroline Powell will all be dropping into Mandeville Place throughout the day to say hello.

Sporting events are accompanied by an all-dayer in the park — the annual Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival.  Here, deaf and disabled artists will put on an exciting line-up of street theatre, dance, live music, film, art installations and children’s activities.

Organisers aim for the event to be accessible for everyone and there’s a dedicated page specifically for anyone with potential access issues looking for more information on getting to and enjoying the park.

National Paralympic Day takes place on Saturday 30 August, midday-8pm, at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The event is free to enter and enjoy. Tickets to the sporting events cost just £5.
