Join us on a walk of the outflow points for London rivers, lost or otherwise, into the Thames from the mouth of the River Lea to the Wandle.

Our route is around 15 miles long with refreshment stops along the way eschewing, where possible, the Thames Path and diverting along more interesting, historical or geeky routes.

It was in the pub after the Year of the Bus walk in April that this next walk idea was spawned, and given we're partnering with Totally Thames in September it seems like a very reasonable warm up.

As ever, this is not a guided walk but a fun and friendly amble in the convivial company of London enthusiasts and hardened walkers on Saturday 16 August. We start at 10am near Trinity Buoy Wharf, Bow Creek and will probably finish in Wandsworth around 6pm, depending on the pub stops.

It's free to join us, please RSVP on Facebook or leave a comment to let us know you're coming.

Long walks not your thing? Get tickets for the Lost River Geek-Off on Saturday 20 September aboard HMS President as part of our events programme for Totally Thames.
