This week's double bill. Dead Flowers: this man's voice is pure gravelly gold! This track is from his debut album which was written while travelling from New York to Montreal. Joe Innes & The Cavalcade: the band recently released an EP called Brian, I'm a genius too, which you can hear on their SoundCloud page. @thedeadflowers, @joeinnes, @The_GalleryCafe

Saturday 19 July

Smiling Ivy, Hootananny, Brixton

An explosive and outspoken band from Sheffield. Their tracks are political and pack a punch. This is from their Tastefully Disgraceful EP which they released last year.
