From the Archive

Last year we delved into the final records from the Ministry of Defence’s UFO desk before it closed in 2009, to find out about airborne mischief around London. Sightings recorded included three nights of UFOs in Waterloo in February 2009. Find out about more London UFO Sightings.

Pub of the Day

Today's shout-out goes to The Ship between Kennington and Lambeth. It's one of those cosy places that just gets everything right — and good Sunday lunch too. If you're heading over to the Imperial War Museum when it reopens in July, then this is our top tip for a pint afterwards.
