One man has died and 13 people were injured in a collision between a night bus and a car in Clapton last night.
The route N38 bus and the car were involved in a crash on Lea Bridge Road at around 2:20am. The man was one of four passengers in the car, one of whom was critically injured. 10 bus passengers were treated for injuries, while some were taken to Homerton Hospital for treatment.
The scene was attended by seven ambulance crews from London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance.
The police have not made any arrests and the cause of the collision is being investigated, but anyone with information should contact 101.
