Founded in 1963, The Royal National Theatre is a theatrical London treasure. It moved to its current home on London’s South Bank in 1976 and over the years has seen performances from big names such as Dame Judi Dench, Richard Griffiths, Helen Mirren and Richard Attenborough. But did you know it’s also a charity?
The National Theatre is changing, inside and out, as part of NT Future - a campaign that began last year and aims to transform, improve and enrich the experience of everyone who visits the theatre. There’ll soon be new spaces for learning, production and recreation, as well as new cafe bars, terraces and even a new theatre.
