If you're of an intrepid nature and fancy raising some money for charity, London's Air Ambulance is holding its annual abseiling event at Whitechapel's Royal London Hospital on Thursday, Friday and Sunday this week.
The abseil is from the hospital's helipad — 17 floors up — which should give anyone taking part a decent view of east London from the other side of the window.
Registration costs £35 and there's a fundraising commitment of £300, but late entrants will have up to eight weeks after the abseil to meet this.
