Thanks to the iconic signs and the likes of Monopoly, many of London's most famous street names are recognised all over the world. Here, we take a look, not at the names, but at the signs themselves, walked past by thousands of Londoners every day, but a lifesaver to a lost tourist trying to pinpoint their location on an old-fashioned A-Z.
