Try Photography, Food Or Coding At Camden Create Festival

Camden

The first Camden Create festival takes place at iconic Camden venues on 13-15 May, providing advice to people who want to work in the creative industries, and offering everyone a chance to try new activities.

The festival celebrates all things creative in Camden, with talks from locals including award-winning designer Wayne Hemingway MBE, and a chance to learn about the architecture of the area.

The programme covers creativity in almost every guise. Festival-goers are given a chance to try their hands at photography or drawing, and get advice on creating a video CV. Technically minded creatives can try a beginner's coding session, offering an introduction to software design.

Camden's party reputation also gets a look-in with comedy, an open mic night, vodka-fuelled boat parties and a wrap party on the final evening. Daily foodie walks take in the culinary history and versatility of the area.

Camden Create takes place 13-15 May. Tickets are £20 per day or £55 for three days, available at the festival website.
