In celebration of the Year of the Bus, and for the second year in a row, the National Trust is putting on some special road trips on heritage Routemaster buses.

Hop onboard a restored 1962 Green Line Routemaster for special tours conducted by distinguished Londoners. Each is on a Saturday, starting from Saturday 7 June until Saturday 12 July.

Tours will run as follow:

All the tours start and end at the same point: 20 Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0DH. Tours last approximately two to three hours, with stops along the way. Tickets are £20 for adults and £16 for concession, and can be bought advance online.

In addition, the National Trust has also organised The Goldfinger Bus Tour, on the trail of famous architect and furniture designer Ernö Goldfinger. Led by Royal College of Art lecturer and architectural historian Joe Kerr, the tour gives an insight into the life and major works of the architect, including his recently-reopened house in Willow Road, Hampstead and the Trellick Tower. This extended tour takes place on Saturday 21 June, 9.30am-3.30pm, tickets are £28 for adults and £22 for concessions.
