With a great reputation for their live shows, this is loud angry blues. Also playing tonight is a new band called ‘Blow’ who people are quietly saying great things about.

Thursday 1 May

Mohit, The George Tavern, Commercial Road

The is the launch party for the band’s third EP ‘Change of Figure’. This experimental three piece originate from Bognor Regis but are now London based and plying their trade across the capital. 

Friday 2 May

Duncan Disorderly & the Scallywags and Rum BuffaloMagic Garden, Battersea

This week’s double bill. You can see both these bands for free as long at you arrive at the venue before 8pm. Duncan Disorderly & the Scallywags – This band recently walked and played the Paris marathon in aid of Music For Youth. What an epic way to raise money for charity! Rum Buffalo — A seven-piece taking western swing and bluegrass, mashing it together and making it their own.

Café Society, Old Queens Head, Essex Road
