Stand Up For Shelter And Help Homelessness

Help raise money for Shelter next month and be entertained by some of the finest comedians around.

Stand Up For Shelter showcases sets from nine fantastic comics, including Stewart Lee — you can still watch the whole of the latest series of his Comedy Vehicle on iPlayer, and for the love of all that is holy, do — Richard Herring, Zoe Lyons, hip hop artist / comedian Doc Brown, Miles Jupp (currently being excellently obnoxious in Rev), Kevin Eldon, Sean Hughes, Steven Bailey and Fern Brady.

Shelter works with families struggling with bad housing and homelessness. The latest figures for London showed that the number of people statutorily homeless and in temporary accommodation in the capital has increased 3% in a year, to 42,430 households.

The night takes place on 7 May at Wyndham's Theatre on Charing Cross Road. Tickets start from £17.25 for standing and go up to £42.25 for the stalls and circle (including booking fee).
