Shop With The Stars At Fenwicks

Dame Judi Dench in conversation

You might not be surprised to come across the likes of Joanna Lumley and Sheila Hancock when you're wandering around the department stores of the West End. But being served by them? It could only be for charity.

To celebrate the Olivier Awards, the pinnacle of the London theatre calendar, Fenwicks Bond Street is employing a line-up of stage and screen stars for one night only. On 10 April, faces such as Kara Tointon, Natalie Gumede, Maria Friedman, Emilia Fox, Jim Carter and Julian Fellowes will be manning the tills and packing bags. Plus, pantomime favourite Christopher Biggins will be on the tannoy all night. Oh no he won't...

Attending Shop With The Stars is completely free and open to anyone. Just turn up and browse. A percentage of all sales made during this shopping event will be donated to the charity Acting For Others, which offers assistance to theatre professionals in financial difficulty.

On top of this, Dame Judi Dench will be interviewed by journalist and presenter Susanna Reid in front of an audience in the department store's restaurant. Hear all about her fascinating career while tucking into nibbles and champagne. Tickets to this event are £100, with 100% of this going to Acting For Others.
