Londonist Flickr contributor Robert Timothy specialises in photographing the capital without people. His shots show familiar locations, normally bustling, now utterly abandoned.
The photos were nominated for a Webby Award in the category 'Best Use of Photography', alongside work by the likes of CNN and NPR. The photos follow in a fine tradition of capturing the capital at its quietest, most notably practised by Ian Visits on a Christmas morning.
