Even though Trafalgar Square was largely closed off for refurbishment, that didn't stop masses of people turning out for Pillow Fight Day on Saturday. The feathery beating took place on the North Terrace, in front of the National Gallery, instead.
We'd seen requests for participants to bring a plastic bag to help with the clear-up, but from some of these photos it would seem not everyone got the message (though well done that lad in photo four). There's a tweet from Westminster police implying that City Hall is trying to find out who's behind the event to send them the bill.
Thanks to everyone who put photos in our Flickrpool, and the photographers you see here: Steve Way, rod, Nate Edwards, Will Self's Dog, Torsten Reimer and George Griffin.
