Gorilla Circus Trapeze School Returns To Regent’s Park

Gorilla Circus

We’ve never felt so free.

London Zoo’s primates won’t be the only ones monkeying around in Regent’s Park this summer, as Gorilla Circus brings its Flying Trapeze School back to the royal park for the sixth year.

Whether you want to try trapeze in a one-off two hour session, or join a longer course, it’s worth booking ASAP. There are also intermediate lessons for those who progress past the basics. If you get to this point, we take our hat off to you. Last year, we found there’s a certain something to be said for free flying through the air with the BT Tower looming in the distance. Not being the most nimble of people, we failed to complete many any of the tricks we were attempting, but it was jolly good fun all the same.

Anyone aged 8+ can take part, and private classes are available for groups of eight or more. If you don’t fancy risking the great British summer weather, Gorilla Circus holds indoor classes in Woolwich in the winter months.

At time of writing, tickets are on sale until early June (many classes sold out already), with future classes available approximately one month in advance. No word yet as to whether the fun will also be returning to Camden Roundhouse this year.

Flying Trapeze School is in Regent’s Park 3 May-7 September. Ticket prices vary, available from Gorilla Circus.
