Tiger Cub Triplets Born At London Zoo

London Zoo is celebrating the birth of three new arrivals: rare Sumatran tiger triplets were born on 3 February. The cubs are as yet unsexed and are being kept inside a ‘cubbing den’ with their mother Melati, and are already clambering over each other, mum and exploring their surroundings.

Melati is the same tiger whose first cub drowned in the tiger pool enclosure last October. This time keepers are making sure all the cubs are kept safely in the den.
