Every few months, the guys at Herb Lester publish a new and helpful map of London. Previous joys have included An Uncle's Guide to London, Clandestine London and Untamed London. The latest map rounds up the best restaurants and cafes for particular regional cuisines.
The guide covers 105 eateries, under 15 different regions, including African, Caribbean, Japanese, Polish and Turkish, to randomly pick five. Although many restaurants are central, the map also extends out to the edges of the city. Writers Jenny Linford and Polly Russell know their potatoes (and assorted other consumables), having written extensively about the capital's food scene. Jenny's previous projects include Food Lovers' London and The London Cookbook.
London: A World of Eating is out now from Herb Lester, priced £4. Available online or from many shops and museums.
