The Chocolate Festival Comes To Islington

ChocStalls-44

Chocoholics rejoice! The bi-annual Chocolate Festival is returning to London in April, with a veritable mountain of chocolatey goodness to get stuck into (literally, we hope).

The organisers claim that the festival has been "completely re-thought for this year", and we're certainly liking the sound of The Cocoa Spa. Sadly it doesn't look like there will be a chance to fulfil our lifelong dream of sitting in a bath of chocolate, but we are promised cocoa butter based beauty treatments courtesy of Hotel Chocolat.

We're hoping to win over our inner health-fanatic by heading to The Health Zone where there is information about the health benefits of chocolate and various free-from and raw chocolate products.

Alongside the usual artisan chocolatier exhibitors, there is The Best Brownie Ever Trail, a mission to find, er, the Best Chocolate Brownie. Sounds like hard work, but we’ll do it if we must…

The Chocolate Festival comes to London twice a year, as well as other cities around the UK.

The Chocolate Festival, 11-13 April 2014, is at Business Design Centre in Islington. Tickets are on sale now, and are priced at £5 for general admission, £15 for a Tasting Ticket, or £35 for a Chocolate VIP Ticket. See website for info about different tickets.
