Explore London's Global Art Fair: Art 14 At Olympia London
A dazzling variety of modern and contemporary art from 40 countries lands in London for global art fair, Art 14. Art lovers, shoppers and the art-curious are as welcome as collectors and curators and there are plenty of opportunities to learn more about art and experience its many different forms across the weekend.
What can you expect at Art 14?
Over 180 galleries are participating in this global panoply of visual creativity where contemporary Chinese art rubs shoulders with modern European art next to the very latest in African art — under one stunning roof.
Those with an eye for the up-and-coming can seek out the dedicated London Firsts section for 16 handpicked galleries who have never exhibited at a London art fair before, while the Emerge section gathers together a further 16 galleries united by a focus on emerging artists or emerging art cities.
The vast and bright space of Olympia Grand will also be punctuated by large-scale installations intended to surprise and inspire. There will also be live art performances from international artists, ranging from site-specific interventions through to durational pieces in a dedicated performance space.
Art Talks & Tours
Directors of prestigious institutions share "10 Things You Didn't Know About..." their specialist art subject, including Brett Rogers of the Photographers' Gallery and Iwona Blazwick of Whitechapel Gallery. These free informal talks are a brisk 20 minutes — perfect for picking up key tips on what to look for as you browse the fair.
All ticket holders can take a free Highlights Tour of the fair led by Sotheby's Institute of Art post-graduate students. To join, sign up at the information desk on the day of your visit. If you're after more in-depth expertise, book in advance for a Sotheby's tour specialising in the subject of your choice, be it African, Asian or Middle Eastern Art, Photography or Editions (£10).
Taking children along? Head for the Purple Dragon stand for activities designed to unleash the creativity of little kids and tours specially designed with families in mind.
The Art of Food

The Food 4 Art programme will see a different chef with a different style in charge of the menu each day.
