If you prefer to fill your lunch hour with something more improving and interesting than a cucumber sandwich, then head to UCL on Tuesdays and Thursdays over the winter months. The university's popular lunch hour lectures are set to return, offering a free insight into the latest research from UCL's world-class departments. All talks begin at 1.15pm and last 40 minutes. Entry is free, and you can just turn up to the Darwin Lecture Theatre on a first-come, first-served basis. Lectures are uploaded to the university's YouTube, iTunes and Soundcloud sites after approximately one week.
