New Cinema For Chiswick

chiswick

Picturehouse Cinemas has won approval to open a new venue on Chiswick High Road. The popular chain will take over the old Rambert Ballet School site, vacated in November. The new venue will include five screens, two bars, a cafe and a terrace, while the outer facade will be decorated with a 'living wall'. The scheme reportedly had a tough time getting past Hounslow’s planning committee, with some residents concerned about the potential for increased noise. Having now received the green light, it could be open within the next 18 months. The Chiswick venue joins Picturehouse's six existing London cinemas in Brixton, Clapham, Greenwich, Hackney, Notting Hill and Stratford.
